Mohneesh said "Dandlee would be great place for this trip", but due to some reason we had to change our plan from Dandlee to Honnemardu. When we reached Honnemardu that time we all realised that the decision was correct.
I think you are little bit confused OK ! No problem, let me take you into the context.
We all are working with Tavant Technology Bangalore and this was our quarterly trip from company and we all decided to go to Honnemardu.
Myself, Our Dada "Basab Kumar Banarjee" , Our boss Sameer, Nitin Choudhary, Ankit Pandey (Aang pen),Sudhakar ,Vatsa, Harsha, Pradeep, Ram Prasad, Nitesh, Subhasis, Soubhagya, Amit Sharma, Amit bajaj, Arun BS and lot more people.
Unfortunatly Mohneesh could't get a chance for this trip.
'Honnemardu' is supposed to be a village submerged under the Linganmakki reservoir in Shimoga district.
We started on Friday morning at 7:00 AM.
We hired a private travel Bus from Bangalore. Bus was pretty good. I got a window seat. Initially we were doing lot of masti. we were shouting together. Not hard to say that we were enjoying a lot.
We could not come to know how early we finished our whole journey. We played antakshari. I hope all people who were the part of journey can never forget my Snake dance while playing antakshari. This is the thing i want to pointing out, when we go ahead, we always forget the old moments this is human propensity.
If you try to imagine those moments in which you have cried, you will laugh after calling back those moments. The moments in which you have laughed, you will scream after bringing it.
We reached Shimoga by 1:00 pm. Shimoga : "District lies in western ghats, locally called Malnad. The distance between Bangalore and Shimoga is 280Kms and situated at North-West direction from Bangalore. This district has beautiful forests with waterfalls."
One of the famous Jag Fall is in Shimoga Only.

By 6:00 pm we reached Honnemardu. I would not make any guilty if I would say that we reached in one of the heaven of earth. My eyes has never seen such green place in my life. Whole area was pollution free. Nobody allow to smoke, drink, can't use poly bags. This was awesome experience for all of us. We were very tired but when we saw the place, Nobody knows from where a spritual enery came to all of us mind and body. We were feeling like, just now we have come out from our bed and it was one of the beautiful evening for all of us.
I have collected all those moments in my camra for all of you.
A person was assigned to our team, his name was ganpati. He was seems to be one of the villager who had knowledge about the area. He took all of us to a place, a round cemented circle was there. He told all of us about the rule and ragulation of that area. we laid donw for taking the rest on the round cemented circle.

Nitin said, "Pappu ye kanha aa gaye hum?", All we expressed our joy.
This place was the mainland, ganpathi explained about the plan for tomorrow. The day we reached to Honnemardu, we could't do much activities. We played our own game. In night ganpathi served Kichri in dinner to all of us, the taste of the kichri was awesome. It was prepared on "chula". We ate khichri on banana leaves. This was the awe-inspiring experience for all of us.
Morning all we woke up at 4:00 AM, after finishing the daily activitis, as per the plan we had to go to the near by river. All we were very enthusiastic about the adventure activity that we were about to do. Life jackets were distributed to all of us.

This was for safty perpuse for the person who does't know swiming. All we were loaded with our "chappus".

We Started our journey towards the river. I saw lot of coracle (rounded boats) there. Activities that all we were about to do there were Rafting, Rappeling, Swiming using Life Jakets and one more but not the last was whole night fire camping in middle of forest.
We were marching towards the river, within 15 min all we were near the river. We formed 5 teams, 4 people each than we started comptetion among us. All we had to reach to the end of the river.

This was the first time i was flowing the coracle using chappu. This task is seems to be very easy but until or unless you would not involve it, you would never understand how much difficult it is.
Any way all we were not expert, we were struggling.

After a long while our group reached to the end. Ang pen, Nitin Choudhary and Sushanta was in my group. We were trying our best so that atleast we could come to the third position. there were the technique for flowing that rounded boat. Harsha was shouting "Jor Laga key haisa, Chappu chala key Haisa". For Harsha's team it was very unmanageable to flow the coracle . All people in his team was very fatty (Harhsa, Soubhagya, Sameer). But atlast they could able to reach at the other end of the river.
Our next task was very adventures, we had to spend our one night
in middle of the forest means fire camp outing in night, there we had to learn how to cop up with the difficult situations. we were very exited for that task.
Again we had to go to the one of the island by coracle there we had to spend our whole night. Sri Vathsa did't come by coracle, he swam through out the journey towards island.
That was the amazing enthusiasm he showed. Panday je said, "Yaar ek photo ho jaye". Ankit panday, one of the active and enthusiastic person of our team, we called him Aang Pen. He is a kind of person who always keeps his face happy and smily. While going to the island i took one photo of Ange Pen.
Than we started moving towards island. we took only half an hour to reach there, as we were now proficient in flowing the corales. I saw my watch, it was showing 7:00 pm. It was not much dark but was enough to think that night has started now. Ganpathi was guiding all of us. He took us to the middle of island, we had to do a little bit of struggle for reaching in the middle. Dark was on it's extream position. The shadows of the trees were seems to be atrocious. Ganpathi asked four or five people for collecting the wood for night fire. Suman, Ram Prasad, Subhasis and Nitesh helped ganpathi for that. After collecting the wood he showed all of us how to burn wood than he started bivouacking. After finishing the camping we had dinner together that was some special kind of rice which ganpathi had brought for all of us. After dinner we did night firing. We burned the wood and formed a circle. We played a lot of
things there. Till 2:00 am we were awaking afterwards nobody knows how come we fell in sleep. At 3:30 am, my eyes opened for a moment, nitin choudhar was doing some junglee activities for horrifying me. I expressed my feelings by my face and slumbered again.

I have some moments of that night for all of you. Anyone can realise how much masti we did there.
In morning we had to go back to the mainland, the place we started from. Everybody started cumulating their baggage whatever we were carrying.

One of us captured that nice moment. Ganpathi was explaning about the wellness of the ashes of fire. We started applying the ash on our faces. We were looking like as a hobgoblin.
We were feeling very tired but journey had not end yet.
There were a lot activities to do. I would not like to go in deep but the time when we were returning to the mainland was awesome because the colour of clouds was pink, water was totally blue and the sky was seems to be like as a mirror image of blues lake that has covered all of us.

While flowing the coracle i was looking back to the island on which we had spent the last night.
I could have never ever get a chance to live my life like that. How difficult it is to live a life similar to what, which we have lived only for one night. I was feeling the cold water falling in drops from vapor condensed in the atmosphere.

The sky that was very clear, when we started, now it was covered by smoke. We were facing lot of problem for identifying the direction of mainland. But atlast we could able to reach there.
After reaching the mainland we finished our daily activities, Ganpathi assembled all of us for brakfast.
It was 11:30 in my watch.
Ganpathi shouted, "EveryBody should be ready for Jungle jaunt with in 15 min". Jaunt, " I though it should be a pleasure kind of trip", but unfortunatly we had to march almost 5 to 8 km in jungle. It was exciting but i know for some people it was agitating. We started our next journey towards Jungle
